Dr. Catherine Cole embodies compassion, warmth, and confidence as a veterinarian, living a life rich with connections to both animals and loved ones. Growing up surrounded by a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, and horses, she developed a deep understanding of animal care from an early age. By junior high school, Dr. Cole was already administering injections to her horse, showcasing her natural confidence and passion for animal welfare. Drawn to veterinary medicine by the challenge of blending problem-solving skills with her passion for animal care, she embarked on a journey to fulfill her childhood dream. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University, Dr. Cole pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Throughout her life, relationship building has been a core part of Dr. Cole’s life. Dr. Cole has forged profound bonds with her pets, from her cherished “heart horse” to her beloved cat, dog, and two ball pythons, forming the cornerstone of her commitment to building trusting relationships. Inspired by these connections, she brings the same level of care and trust to her clients and their pets, always prioritizing their well-being and working collaboratively to find solutions tailored to their needs.
In addition to her dedication to animal care, Dr. Cole cherishes her relationships with her family. With her husband Ken, two daughters, and a household bustling with pets, she finds joy in nurturing these bonds and creating lasting memories together. Whether scaling the peaks of New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot mountains with her loyal trail companion, Sophie the pup, or tending to her flourishing gardens, Dr. Cole approaches each day with a zest for life and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world of veterinary medicine.
